I came here for early morning dim sum on a weekday. Arrived at 10:15am and had to wait 1/2 hr for a table, for 2 (it wasn’t even that busy). They have seating in the basement but it isn’t suited for older people or people who are disabled (as there is no elevator). There is also the option of sharing a larger table, but I declined that. When I finally got my table, I realized that the main dining area is quite small and there are only a handful of small tables. Thus the longer wait. S, M, L dishes are $6.95 and tea is $3 per person (before 11am). A little on the pricier side but the portions are big. Food overall is a bit bland (i.e. Congee did not have any flavour) - perhaps they are catering more towards the seniors?? Service was great! Empty dishes were cleared from the table immediately. And tea was always full. The tea looked fancy propped up on a stand that was meant to keep it warm, but there was no candle or any heating element underneath. So it kind of defeated the purpose. Overall very good experience and worth trying.

Good food and service! We tried the $98 dim sum and lobster set . Food was fresh and well seasoned. The lobster dish was not my taste but others liked it. We were there at 11am, the service team was professional and attentive.

I recently revisited Seafood Princess and had a pleasant time enjoying their early bird dim sum which is $6.95 for all of their large, medium & small items (excludes specials). First, the restaurant interior truly impressed us and it felt as though we sat in an upscale polished establishment. Tea arrived shortly thereafter although they charged $3pp which seemed a bit excessive. But the siu mai here is worth it, as huge plump bites of meat with perhaps a bit of shark fin. We also had their deep-fried truffle berry buns & eel with cheese buns served hot. Both items appear unique to this dim sum spot. We were filled very quickly for two people, especially as we also ordered the congee with spare ribs, dried fish & peanuts that was filled into a very deep metallic bowl. Service was quite friendly towards us similar to our previous visit. Only down side was the waitress’ chit chat early in the morning near our table. Still, a nice dim sum meal.

We tried the Buddha’s Temptation & Lobster Set Menu at Seafood Princess, and it was absolutely impressive! Every dish was full of premium ingredients, from abalone, fish maw, and sea cucumber to the flavorful chicken soup. The Steamed Cajun Lobster was fresh, juicy, and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere, perfect for family dinners or business gatherings. Most importantly, the service was excellent, attentive, polite, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

New dim sum spot at McNicoll and Victoria park! Got lots of dim sum choices and if you come from 9-11am, S, M and L are all $6.95 (cash only for the special)! Spacious dining area with different rooms available, nicely decorated and feels quite modern. Staff here are very nice and attentive for the most part, they’ll come refill your tea and change out dirty plates throughout the meal. Most dishes are pretty good, with some average tasting ones. But their rice roll, siu mai and taro coconut roll were some of my faves! There’s also lots of parking spots available in the back!

Seafood Princess stands out in Scarborough as a refined Asian restaurant that celebrates the art of seafood with an inviting yet elegant ambiance. Located conveniently at 3601 Victoria Park Ave, it offers a thoughtfully curated menu that highlights the freshness and quality of its seafood selections. The spotlight dishes such as succulent prawns, delicate sashimi, and the classic Shrimp Dumpling Har Gow showcase a balance of authentic flavors and meticulous preparation that seafood enthusiasts will appreciate.

What truly captures my attention at Seafood Princess is their dim sum experience, especially during early hours when an enticing early bird price of $6.95 applies to small, medium, and large items. The siu mai here is a standout—plump and generously filled, it delivers satisfying textures and a subtle hint of premium ingredients, ensuring every bite feels indulgent. Unique offerings like the deep-fried truffle berry buns and eel with cheese buns bring exciting twists to traditional dim sum staples, illustrating the chef’s creativity and respect for classic recipes.

Beyond dim sum, Seafood Princess impresses with its luxurious set menus such as the Buddha’s Temptation and Lobster Set, which feature ingredients like abalone, sea cucumber, and fish maw, accompanied by rich, flavorful chicken soup. The steamed Cajun lobster deserves special mention for its freshness and delicate, juicy texture, making it a memorable highlight. These dishes cater superbly to those seeking elevated Asian seafood dining, whether for family gatherings or business meals in a polished setting.

Service at Seafood Princess complements the culinary offerings with attentiveness and professionalism, maintaining a balance between warmth and efficiency. Tea service is consistent, even if the $3 per person charge may feel slightly steep, the overall hospitality ensures guests feel welcomed and well cared for. While some dishes lean towards a more subtle seasoning—perhaps mindful of senior palates—the combination of robust seafood flavors and creative dim sum options ensures a well-rounded and enjoyable dining experience.

The restaurant’s atmosphere blends modern decor with comfortable seating arrangements, though potential diners should note that seating options like the basement may lack accessibility features such as elevators. However, ample parking and a spacious layout add convenience to its accessibility. Overall, Seafood Princess is a noteworthy destination for those craving fresh, expertly crafted Asian seafood cuisine with distinctive dim sum specialties that leave a lasting impression.
